List of coloured enamelled wood burners
One of the most frequently asked questions of me is do I know who
manufactures coloured enamelled stoves and wood burners? There many
out there but they are not always easily found. Below is a list, far
from comprehensive, but a good starting point to finding the stove you
are after. At present I can only supply the
Westbury stove.

Veteran British brand now owned by JIG, Chinese made, finished
in striking coloured enamels. DEFRA approved and respectably
priced, quality has improved in recent years. The 'Dante' is a
quality appliance. |

British privately owned family run firm established in 1972
based in the Isle of White. Interesting range of stoves that sit
in both contemporary and traditional brackets. The Country Four
seems to be very popular at present. Selection of DEFRA and
HETAS approved appliances. They are not enamelled but the paint
appears to be enduring.

Expensive prestigious London firm with National Heritage
approval for their European manufactured stoves. Range includes
contemporary, retro (the 'Alpine') and traditional styled stoves
and insets, available in a variety of finishes. HETAS approved.

with a 5 year guarantee. Distributed in the UK by Stovax and the
range includes some interestingly styled '60s TV' stoves in the

Godin are one of the largest producers of
stoves in France producing over 150,000 units per year and
exporting them to all countries in the world. They have a long
and established history having started production in 1840 with
the Petit Godin which is known the world over. Pictured is the
Petit Jurassien 7.5kw.
