Stainless steel chimney supply and fitting
If your house has no chimney or the stack has been removed, an
option is to erect a sectional stainless steel chimney. Typically the installation is exterior, although it can run through
the building. It is twin walled and insulated to make it an effective
and efficient flue. Various options exist such as rain cowls, sweeps
access points and they can be fitted to conventional masonry walls and
timber framed properties.
I ensure all my installations are completed with stainless steel fixings, so
in ten years the installation should look as good as on the first day.
The system I favour is Spanish made by Dinak 6" internal
(approximately 9") external available in stainless and black. It has a
two year guarantee, I've yet to have any need to call on that
guarantee.
